Oscar Weinmeister and Harry Reeves stole the show at the Flamingo Open pistol tournament at the Coral Gables police range. Weinmeister won two aggregate titles and one .38 match. Reeves won three of five .38 matches and one of three aggregates

MCS Shooters Cop Fla. Match

Quantico's pistol shooters captured top military team honors, master class, .38 caliber, in the Flamingo Open Pistol championship, held at Coral Gables, Fla.

Competing against over 300 of the nation's best pistol shots, the Quantico Marines earned top honors in five matches, second place honors in four matches, third place in two matches, fourth place in seven matches and fifth place in three matches.

The Quantico team consisted of Capt. Victor F. Brown, team captain, Capt. C. H. Sullivan, MSgt. M. R. Beebe and SSgt. R. Coffey.
